BABY FOOD FREEZER TRAY

The Pea in a Pod Baby Food Freezer Tray has been developed for those who want to prepare larger quantities of fresh, nourishing baby food at home for storing in smaller portion sizes in the freezer.
Making up quantities of puréed fresh, all-natural foods is in fact recommended by the Food Standards Agency. They recommend it because:

  • Using your own food is cheaper than buying commercial baby foods;
  • You'll know what the ingredients are;
  • Your baby will get used to eating foods similar to the rest of the family.

The Pea in a Pod Baby Food Freezer Tray has been designed so that it contains two different sized compartments.
The smaller compartment holds 25 grams (at least double that of an ‘ordinary’ ice cube), which is an average single portion size for your baby – whilst the larger is a 50 gram compartment, for when baby gets hungrier, or for a double portion of his or her favourite food!
The frozen cubes can be stored in freezer bags ready to be defrosted when you need them, freeing up the Baby Food Freezer Trays to use again for your next batch of baby food.

Also included with each Pea in a Pod Freezer Weaning Tray is a fitted lid to prevent freezer burn, which can appear on food that’s frozen in an uncovered container like a conventional ice cube tray, and to keep freezer odours out of your baby’s food. Perhaps more importantly the lid prevents cross contamination from other food stuffs.

  • Top rack dishwasher safe
  • Not for use in the microwave
  • Not suitable for steam sterilisation
  • The trays are made from LDPE and contain no phthalates or Bisphenol A (BPA)
